About the SAP Internship Experience Program


The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.

What you’ll do


Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Branding and Creative Communications


Location: Remote-Virtual US


Expected Start Date: June 2023


Contract Duration: 6 months


Work Hours: 40 hours per week


In this role, you will work on a cross-functional team to create communication materials while adhering to SAP’s overall brand strategy and style. The ideal candidate will require flexibility in that the workload may be split between graphic design, video, and written content creation. You will be tasked to work on a variety of projects including:

  • Videos, animations, and GIFs for employee engagement, thought leadership, and social media content
  • Design business content and information through infographics, charts, and illustrations
  • Support with team SharePoint and newsletter
  • Support internal announcements and events


What you bring


We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.


  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Management, or Journalism. Must demonstrate top academic achievement.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written. Fluency in English, with strong writing and editing skills as demonstrated by a cover letter and, if available, 1-3 samples of writing (e.g., blogs, published articles, and school compositions).
  • Ability to turn complex concepts into simple, understandable, and well-designed videos and visuals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a team player attitude.
  • Ability to move quickly, take initiative, multi-task, and work cross-functionally.
  • Willingness to quickly learn new software
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments and follow through on commitments.
  • Social media and digital technology experience
  • Some prior experience with design or video editing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Not required, but would be taken into consideration:
    • Prior work experience, e.g., video editing, newsletter production, feature writing, conducting interviews, etc.
    • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Camtasia.
    • Graphic design, video production, web design, and video editing skills.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. SAP offers limited benefits for employees hired into hourly or like roles subject to appliable plan/policy terms.
