Sauce Labs is looking for a Competitive Intelligence Manager who is passionate about technology and who can articulate complex technical concepts into terms that make sense to Sales teams and customers. This role will be responsible for shaping our competitive positioning and messaging and supporting our global sales organization with strategic recommendations and critical insights into... competitive offerings. This role will report to product marketing and partner closely with Sales, Marketing and Product Management to advantageously position Sauce Labs' offerings in the DevOps test toolchain marketplace, including:
Test automation, Automated & live cross-browser mobile and web application, mobile beta testing, API testing, low-code testing, UI/Visual testing, error reporting and monitoring market places. Key
Responsibilities:
Deliver deep market research, intelligence and strategic recommendations. Function as an internal consultant to product management, product marketing, sales and executives to provide market-specific insights and strategy. Propose and manage insight research programs, including projects covering market segments, verticals, products, and competitors. Deliver competitor intelligence and market trends analysis in detail and at the executive summary level. Use competitor products, monitor:
announcements, news, review sites, analyst reports and other published sources to build and communicate a detailed understanding of key competitors' differentiators, strategies, offerings, messaging & positioning, GTM activities, and performance. Create battlecards, playbooks, sales presentations, and other internal or customer-facing assets to help sales and partners win in competitive situations. Engage in win/loss analysis and methodology to adjust Go-to-Market, product and sales strategies, and replicate winning strategies globally. Manage the budget allocation to projects. Requirements 4
years' experience of working in competitor intelligence Ability to work in an international and matrix environment Strong knowledge of the markets that Sauce Labs competes in Skilled in the synthesis of data and understanding from multiple data sources to deliver actionable insights. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and to encourage and support others to achieve their objectives. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
