SBA, Business Development Officer

What you'll do:

Strong prospecting skills; including the ability to develop new external referral sources
Working knowledge of the Standard Operating Procedure issued by the SBA
Excellent communication and presentation skills with top-notch customer service approach
Submit high quality application packages, resulting in minimum annual closed production of $15MM
Document activity using our CRM.
Work with team members to establish excellent customer service experience for all clients
Perform high level analysis of SBA 7(a) loan requests

What You'll Need:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
2+ years as an SBA Business Development Officer
Ability to set and manage expectations with borrowers and external partners
Strong relationship-building skills needed to build rapport with clients quickly and professionally
Intuitive/Analytical/problem-solving skills are essential
Thrive on energy, passion and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be willing to learn and be coachable
