Lab Aide (Overnight) - Path Lab: Financial District (Full Time)

Schweiger Dermatology Group seeks a Full-Time Overnight Lab Aide for their Pathology Lab to support with specimen intake and administrative duties while ensuring compliance with SOPs.

Computer savvy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

Receive laboratory specimens from couriers
Review specimens for proper labeling and acceptability
Sort specimens based on insurance and provider preference
Transport specimens safely between laboratory suites
Enter grossing information into LIS
Prepare cases for reference laboratories
Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Education

High School Diploma/GED required
Associate Degree preferred
