Built on a foundation of trusted partnerships, Scientific Games combines relentless innovation, legendary performance, and unwavering security to responsibly propel the global lottery industry ever forward.Position SummaryOrganize and control workflow of the Press department in accordance with approved quality standards, production standards and schedule requirements in the Press departments.• Responsible for Supervising Press crews and attaining daily schedule utilizing budgeted man-hours.• Responsible for monitoring and approving employee timecards in the ADP system.• Train, coach and motivate crewmembers.• Ensure quality of Print operations• Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal departments and external customers to maintain scheduled deadlines.• Provide leadership for the process improvements, quality, and production initiatives.• To work with internal departments in providing each customer with a proactive forum for timely and cost-effective production of a high-quality product with on time sign offs.• Provide internal communications, availability of job status, rapid response to and resolution of production problems.• Ensure all information is complete and available to press crews for each game prior to press time.• Collaborate with Prepress, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Packaging, and Ink department to ensure quality on time delivery of products.• Maintain appropriate inventory levels.• Assist Press crews in improving on budgeted waste, make ready and delay times.• Work with Pressman to remove obstacles and roadblocks for effective operations.• Take initiative by making all employees accountable for team quality and efficiency.• Submit operating statistics for waste, delays, and Press speeds daily, including any improvement ideas.• Submit operating statistics for Maintenance related issues daily, and improvement notes monthly.• Establish and communicate goals and expectations to press crews and support personnel.• Create an environment in which individuals and teams are motivated to achieve their highest capabilities.• Conduct customer facing color sign offs both remotely and in person.QualificationsEducationMust have a high school diploma or equivalency.Years Of Related ExperienceYears of experience 4 to 6 yearsPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
