About the Role

Scorpion is looking for a hands-on Content Strategist to support our B2B content marketing program within Corporate Marketing.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our content initiatives, crafting engaging stories, and developing strategic frameworks to connect with our target audience. Your expertise will be essential in creating content and collaborating with our team of copywriters to help ensure marketing materials resonate with our prospects and clients. This work may include product marketing materials, emails, social media, research articles, ads, landing pages, blog articles, eBooks, and videos. This role reports to the Director of Content Marketing.

  • Demonstrates exceptional writing skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Takes ownership of driving B2B content marketing initiatives forward, resulting in measurable progress and achievements
  • Crafts value-driven messaging across various content formats, incorporating strategic insights and data proof points
  • Plays a pivotal role within the Demand Gen team, contributing to the achievement of monthly goals and objectives
  • Brainstorm topics, create content calendars, and conduct research
  • Fosters teamwork and a can-do attitude, supporting colleagues and contributing ideas and feedback effectively
  • Quickly learns how to write for buyer personas across various verticals (legal, home services, healthcare)
  • Consistently brings fresh insights to content creation, processes, and measurement
  • Maintains a clear and consistent brand voice and keeps the customer and business goals in mind
  • Ensures successful completion of tasks using project management tools


Who you are and what you bring
  • A gifted B2B writer with 5-7 years of experience in content marketing (B2B writing samples required)
  • 2+ years of experience creating full-funnel content in all formats
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with Brand, Design, Product Marketing, and Sales
  • Experience in corporate marketing or in-house settings is highly preferred
  • A content evangelist with a positive mindset and skill in navigating complex projects
  • Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field
  • 3 years of experience working on original research and reports is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience writing for social media is a plus
  • Preferred ability to demonstrate measurable results from content programs

Compensation
  • We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency.  As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
  • The base salary range is $85,000 - $100,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.


$85,000 - $100,000 a year
