What you'll be doing:
The Market Clinical Recruiter is responsible for managing the clinician recruitment cycle from start to finish through facilitating and executing a defined recruitment action plan for all assigned locations and practices. This position will work in partnership with the clinical leaders, market operations and the clinical recruiting management team to support hiring the best talent available and striving to provide an exceptional candidate experience through the hiring life cycle. The Market Clinical Recruiter will facilitate the clinician recruiting process with a sense of urgency, responsible use of sourcing resources guided by defined key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure a high-level of customer service.
- Core knowledge of hospital based medical specialties and physician practice operational models.
- Ability to develop key relationships with Medical Directors, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and client representatives, as applicable.
- Knowledgeable of the local and regional communities where SCP-Health operates practices.
- Sourcing appropriate candidates using standard and creative strategies, while facilitating the hiring process for all prospective candidates from identification-to-hire.
- Effectively screen and engage with desired candidates to support review by the Medical Directors and practice stakeholders.
- Coordinate clinician interviews with appropriate stakeholders as well as initiatives to showcase the local/regional community as appropriate.
- Ability to effectively prioritize, communicate and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to support a consultative and business advisory service approach.
- Responsible for accurate, complete, and timely candidate documentation with the clinical recruitment applicant tracking system and database.
- Strong networking experience, connecting with relevant specialty associations, physician recruiting resources, and residency/fellowship programs for lead generation purposes.
- Ability to participate in and manage prospective candidate interviews on site at practice locations, as needed.
- Support candidate negotiations for job offer specifics including travel stipends, commencement bonuses and relocation expenses according to current standard operating procedures.
- Skillfully recruit both primary and supplemental providers necessary to stabilize the practices under an assigned Market.
- Perform all necessary and creative tactics to successfully recruit assigned practices. This will include but not be limited to utilizing sourcing tools, seeking quality referral channels, collaborating with staff clinicians, coordinating interviews, and attending conferences and events.
- Work with Manager, Recruiting HM/EM to ensure appropriate resources are being allocated in support of open positions and hot spots.
- Work with sourcing specialists on leads that are passed along (timely follow up and regular communication on status).
- Appropriately place providers into client sites by matching candidates skill level, licenses, preferences, board status, credentials, professional certifications, and designations as applicable per state and federal regulations.
- Review applications and obtain references for candidates.
- Conduct follow-up calls with clinicians regarding applications and other paperwork when necessary.
- Follow up consistently with candidates throughout the recruiting process including offers, negotiations, relocation, and contract signing.
- Follow up with clinician after first clinical shift and relay any pertinent information to operations team when beneficial.
- Enter reference information into the database reliably.
- Continuously solicit and track market intel for assigned territory to assist SCP Business Development team with rate information for RFPs upon request.
Who/What we are looking for:
- You have a Bachelors degree in a relevant field Business, Human Resources, or Healthcare related, or equivalent work experience.
- You have two (2) years of healthcare recruitment or in lieu of this, four (4) years of experience in general recruitment, healthcare provider services, or sales/account management.
- Physician recruiting experience is strongly preferred.
- You have knowledge in ATS and complimentary systems.
- Adept at professionally communicating both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to foster and maintain mutually respectful relationships with physicians, advanced practitioners, regional leadership, and client/partner relationships.
- Attune at creating mature recruiting patterns that form connections and build candidate momentum.
- Proactive, strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
- Collaborative team player able to form effective relationships internally and cross-functionally at all levels.
