Scraper Operator

Kiewit is hiring a Scraper Operator for the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson project (JBER), located in Anchorage, Alaska.

Requirements

• 2-5 Years’ experience operating Scraper
• Able to safely operate Scraper while working around other equipment and people
• Able to fill out safety paperwork
• Able to be efficient and meet production targets

Shift information

• Day shift
• Monday – Friday, 12-hour days
• Option to work 10 hours on Saturdays
• Overtime after 8hrs every day

Additional

• Must be part of or willing to join the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 302
• Clean Criminal Record: Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a Background Check
• All travel and living expenses for non-local candidates are at the employee’s expense

Project Information

Over the next four years, the primary contractor Kiewit Infrastructure and various contracting partners will complete an array of tasks, such as excavation, asphalt paving, utility piping, laying of electrical and communication lines, and batching and placing concrete, to name a few.

• Weekends as needed
