Summary:

The Screening Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that clinical screening operations are being conducted smoothly by checking that resources are available, by supervising all activities related to the selection of volunteers/subjects according to the specifics of the study protocol, and ensuring compliance of the services offered.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, manage, and monitor the work unit’s activities/operations according to his field of expertise, the work plan, and the needs of the division in order to achieve the expected results.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor clinical staff
  • Oversee the development of direct reports by setting goals, conducting performance reviews, evaluating and monitoring training needs, creating development plans, mentoring, and coaching
  • Set priorities and schedule activities of departmental resources, implement company objectives, and create alternative solutions to address business and operational challenges
  • Ensure that clinical project follow-ups are made with the clinical management.
  • Determine, as needed, the necessary actions in order to streamline efficiency.
  • Ensure the availability and compliance of the premises, equipment, documentation, and selection procedure equipment related to clinical projects.
  • Can be called upon to take charge of return visits (if applicable).
  • Follow up with the clinical management with respect to disciplinary and performance management.
  • Perform follow-up for employee absences (illness or other).
  • Intervene and document when adverse behavior is displayed by subjects and complaints are made by volunteers/subjects in order to make the necessary adjustments.
  • Manage human capital including workforce planning and hiring activities, and performance management.
  • Ensure that employee skills are up-to-date and perform the related follow-up.
  • Communicate the necessary information in order to keep their team and the organization abreast of the work unit’s work plan, projects, processes, results, and actions and recommendations taken to meet arising needs.
  • Perform technical activities related to his field of expertise.
  • May be assigned other clinical tasks.

What we’re looking for

  • 2- 4 years of relevant work experience would be considered an asset.
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish
  • Must demonstrate good computer skills, especially in the utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, and clinical software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convince, and persuade.
  • Experience in a regulatory context will be considered an asset.
  • Experience in clinical research.
  • Experience managing technical staff.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $60,930 to $115,100. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.

Syneos Health has a voluntary COVID-19 vaccination policy. We strongly encourage all employees to be fully vaccinated. Additionally, certain local governments or Syneos Health customers may have vaccine requirements that apply to some of our employees. These employees are required to submit proof of vaccination to Syneos Health and maintain compliance with these requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
