Responsibilities

As a scrum master you will: coach and mentor a team of cloud software engineers. You will act as a servant leader and help the team grow in their Agile journey. You will work closely with management and product owners to ensure the team is delivering high quality software that meets user needs.

You’ll work in an interdisciplinary team composed of data scientists, bioinformaticians, biologists and software engineers to help solve hard problems which improve biological research and, ultimately, health outcomes, across all of biology.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent
7 years’ experience in software development organizations.
Personifies servant leadership while helping Agile teams reach the next level.
5+ years of experience leading teams in Agile processes and methodologies; specifically, SCRUM and Lean.
Experience coaching teams to a higher level of maturity in Agile processes and in delivering high quality software.
Experience running SCRUM and Lean ceremonies.
Good understanding of why the ceremonies are important and how they can drive change.
Experience in coordinating and collaborating with product teams and product owners.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years’ experience in management of teams.
3+ years' experience running medium to large/complex projects with multiple internal / external dependencies.
Good project management skills.
Experience in roadmap planning.
