The Autodesk Construction Solutions group is seeking a talented and highly motivated software development manager to develop world-class commercial cloud products that are used by construction companies to increase efficiency and reduce the high amount of waste produced during construction. Responsibilities
Your main role is to manage a high-performing agile team that includes strong developers and support from a dedicated designer and product owner
You will be working on projects that fill needs in sustainability in construction
You will work on best practices for development
You will be involved with all aspects of software development
Developing with quality and running the service to create and maintain the most reliable, secure, performant, and high throughput service for our customers
Maintain a competent level of technical expertise, and be able to roll up your sleeves to code
You stay on top of new technologies, evaluate which can be useful, and be a proponent and catalyst for bringing them into and improving the development process
You create a culture of continuous improvement in process, ways we work and individual development
You actively work to understand impediments and remove blockers from the team
You support the individualized career development paths and opportunities of your team members
You will be part of an agile team of smart and highly motivated individuals building world-class cloud software applications and services
You will work in a global team and collaborate with local and remote colleagues from various disciplines like business, engineering, operations, support etc.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or higher degree in software engineering or equivalent
5+ years of software development experience
Experience leading high performing teams and delivering enterprise level software
Excellent technical problem-solving skills and aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologies
Exceptional debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Expert understanding of typical web application architecture (data, application, web tiers etc.)
Solid understanding of security best practices for a modern cloud service
Ability to support the production service by periodically being on-call
Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and easily works with a deployment pipeline

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $139,100 and $225,060. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
