SDK Engineer

Pangea’s SDK team is looking for a JavaScript developer to join us as we build SDK’s for Pangea’s Security Platform as a Service (SPaaS). In this role you will be working on Pangea’s SPaaS and will gain invaluable experience with library design and development, as well as interacting with a community of engaged developers who use your work on a daily basis. You will continue to deepen your knowledge of JavaScript by writing SDK’s (front-end and back-end) that other developers will use in real-world, production applications. This role provides the opportunity to design right, code right, and test right.

Responsibilities:

? Design and build software development kits (SDKs) and other tooling for Pangea SPaaS, primarily in JavaScript

? Write sample applications that demonstrate how Pangea is used in modern JS applications

? Build integrations with the common Javascript frameworks such as NextJS, Vercel, Flutter, AngularJS, Firebase, Svelte, Express, and others.

? Interact with our customers through Github, responding to issues and reviewing pull requests

? Participate in software design and code review for all libraries that the team creates

? Implement holistic testing strategies to assert we're delivering a good developer experience, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

? Write documentation for the libraries that we create

Minimum Skills:

? 4+ years working as a full-stack web developer (you've written production front-end code and back-end code, and can empathize with developers in both realms.)

? 4+ years working with JavaScript as your primary language

? Experience with 2 or more frameworks (node.js, next.js, angular.js, redwood.js, react native, etc…)

? Experience with JavaScript unit and end-to-end testing

Bonus Skills:

? Experience with React

? Experience writing JavaScript tests with modern tools like Jest or Protractor

? Experience interacting with other developers on Github (e.g. opening issues, contributing to issues, filing pull requests)

? Experience working with a product-oriented, agile culture
