What You Will Do

Your Mission: elevate our product to new heights. In your first 12 months, your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Develop features of unparalleled quality, raising the bar for our product's performance and reliability.

• Take ownership of end-to-end backend feature implementation, demonstrating your expertise without constant oversight.

• Work closely with product owners, QA, and fellow developers, lending your expertise and support to the entire engineering team.

• Dive deep into features and tasks, assessing risks, and communicating solutions with clarity and precision.

• Tackle exciting projects like:  scale servers on demand, automate disaster recovery for customers, create self-service purchase options for customers, implement frontend and backend features using Django, help complete critical migration projects for library and framework updates.

What You Must Have

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing commercial-grade SaaS applications using Python, Django, and AWS. Python and Django are required. 

• Proficiency in MongoDB, and MySQL.

• Great communication skills coupled with a positive solutions-oriented attitude.  

• Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, working seamlessly with product managers and QA teams.

• Experience diagnosing and solving production issues at their root cause.

• Ideally, some familiarity with Java, Vue.js, and cloud technologies such as Ansible and Terraform.

Pay Transparency

• Base Salary: The initial base salary for this role is estimated to range from $120,000 to $140,000.

• Salary Structure: Our salary ranges are determined by market analysis and are designed to evolve with job performance over time.

• Additional Benefits: Beyond base salaries, SearchStax employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, with potential for equity and performance-based bonuses.
