WHAT WILL YOU DO

In a fast paced, safety first environment physically handle grain and conduct daily routines related to grain transportation, storage, and elevator maintenance. Our family-oriented team is looking for someone who wants to help growers succeed by:

• Assist in all areas of the unloading, loading and transferring of grain and grain products which may include but not be limited to truck and rail operations.
• Learn how to operate conveyance equipment that is utilized in the shipping, receiving and transferring of grain and grain products and the associated safety systems of that equipment.
• Learn to monitor quality and condition of all grain moving through or stored in the facility.
• Greets customers and thanks them for their patronage. Assists customers with loading and unloading of grain.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of loading, unloading areas and facility. Assist with monitoring of equipment and either reports or corrects equipment failures. Attends safety training and safety meetings.

WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, high noise levels, and around dust.
• Good customer service, problem-solving and work ethic.
• Solid team player with the willingness to get the job done during peak season by working extended hours as needed.
• Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof.
• Ability to work at heights of over 150 feet and lift 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
