Seasons Kosher Supermarkets is one of the largest kosher supermarket chains in the nation. At present, there are 4 Seasons Supermarket locations & 4 Convenience store models across the Tri-State area with plans to expand. Seasons offers its customers a full-service kosher shopping experience where everyone, including its highly dedicated associates, is treated like family.

We are in search of an experienced Deli Manager to ensure that the deli area of our market is well-maintained and running efficiently. To effectively direct and supervise all functions and activities of the department and its associates to achieve the department’s goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee deli employees, ensuring appropriate food handling, customer service, and pursuit of sales goals
  • Review sales performance and make adjustments to orders to improve profitability and minimize waste
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to produce displays and inventory
  • Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, and training employees
  • Manage employee schedules
  • Keep control of food cost, waste, and employee overtime while maintaining profits
  • Properly order and inventory supplies
  • Plan and prepare food for customers
  • Assure safety rules and regulations are implemented and followed
  • Making sure all products are of the highest quality possible
  • Observe all safety regulations when operating equipment and utilize Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Establish and consistently meet timelines
  • Other duties may be assigned

  • At least four years of deli experience, including two years in a supervisory role
