Second Spectrum, a Sports Emmy-winning data & tech company, is seeking a Software Engineer for their Soccer Data Products group. The ideal candidate will work on high-volume soccer tracking data to drive insights and enhance product offerings.

Skills

Experience with Rust and Python
Knowledge of AWS and Docker
Skills in data parsing and manipulation
Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain production systems for live player tracking data
Coordinate development with engineering, product and operational teams
Document and communicate processes for operational staff
Understand business and sport-related needs for optimal technology outcomes
Maintain best practices for software development and coding standards

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
