Security Analyst

The Security Analyst will be responsible for driving and refining the Dapper Labs Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program. The candidate will partner closely with Dapper Labs Information Security team leadership and internal stakeholders to identify, triage, assess, remediate, and track third-party service providers in order to protect our consumers’ and company critical assets.

This role resides within the Dapper Labs enterprise Information Security team reporting to the Senior Manager of Security. The candidate will also occasionally work with other members of the Information Security team on additional related initiatives based on impact and priority.

What we’ll accomplish together:

Establish partnerships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, IT, Procurement) to ensure efficient identification of new third-party service providers (aka Vendors).
Define formal protocols for identifying and tracking new/existing Dapper Labs vendors.
Triage new vendors and apply an inherent risk rating as part of the intake process.
Execute the Dapper Labs TPRM protocols to effectively assess, remediate and conclude (e., assign a residual risk value) on vendors’ risk profiles.
Manage program documentation and develop reporting in support of the broader Information Security program.
Provide subject matter expert recommendations for program opportunities, including automation and external tools/resources to drive continuous improvement.
Provide regular program updates, metrics, trends and reporting to program leadership and internal stakeholders.
Develop positive, effective relationships across the organization at all levels to drive influence.
Contribute to broader Information Security program vision, strategy, and goals. Take on additional projects and initiatives where necessary to delivery on program objectives.

A little about you:

Experience driving and executing TPRM programs in fast-moving, ever-changing organizations. Prior startup or small company experience a plus.
Working knowledge of and experience working with regulatory and industry standards/frameworks – g., BITS SIG, NIST, ISO, SOC.
Ability to make fast, practical risk treatment decisions and recommendations.
Exhibit strong partnerships and collaboration with a bias for action.
Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills with ability to effectively communicate with internal leadership and external stakeholders.
5-7 years of experience demonstrating progressive increase in complexity and responsibility in the information security, risk management and audit related fields. Prior consulting and audit experience a plus.
