Security Analyst

Security Analyst Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze alerts and risks identified from Arctic Wolf, CrowdStrike, and Mimecast. Research and analyze identified security risks and provide recommendations and implementation plans for mitigation.
• Maintain and update security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
• Respond to security incidents and provide support during investigations.
• Work with IT Leadership and Engineering to align the IT Security practices with the CIS Controls security framework.
• Stay current on industry trends and security threats, and share insights and recommendations with the team.

Security Analyst Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in information security or a related field.
• Strong understanding of security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and network security.
• Experience with Arctic Wolf, CrowdStrike, and Mimecast or similar tools.
• Knowledge of security regulations and standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and NIST.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
