What you will do day-to-day:

Conduct mobile/roving patrol checks of the Maxar facilities and grounds both internal and external using the De-tex tracking system to protect personnel, property and company assets. Check sensitive areas and company generators.
Conduct Maxar proprietary information collection for destruction, respond to calls as dispatched by the SOC for assistance (open door, escort, jump starts of vehicles, ect..) to include calls for medical emergencies and chemical spills, respond to oxygen monitoring alarm system and assist with alarms testing.
Conduct weekly PIV/Riser inspections to ensure that the emergency sprinkler systems are functional. Work in the reception lobby receiving, greeting, registering and badging visitors to the facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance at the Secret level.
Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows.
Be 1st Aid/AED/CPR certified or able to be certified

Preferred Qualifications:

active secret security clearance
Previous experience in safety/security

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$18.98 - $31.63 hourly.
