The mission of our Information Security team is to ensure the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive program that effectively protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Point72 information assets. Our team is comprised of security professionals with expertise in a diverse portfolio of security disciplines.

What you’ll do

• Monitor events from various security tools, interpret those events, and determine if they represent a true threat to the organization.
• Investigate reports of phishing and social engineering attacks
• Work with end users and system administrators to collect information about incidents and help them mitigate vulnerabilities
• Work with Unix and Windows systems to collect evidence and mitigate threats
• Work with system logs and log collection, filtering, and management tools
• Configure and manage security products to mitigate threats and improve network security
• Develop scripts to automate job functions and analyze large amounts of data in languages including Python and PowerBI.
• Produce detailed reporting for management, including weekly/monthly/quarterly statistics

What’s required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Information Technology or other relevant discipline
• 3-5 years of experience working in security operations or managed detection and response
• Hands on experience working with computer security tools, including intrusion detection systems, host based EDR solutions, and vulnerability scanners
• Technical foundation in computer security threats and vulnerabilities, incident response and investigations
• Confidence working in production IT environments
• Excellent communication skills
