What you will be doing:
• Assist in preparation of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, including preparing and posting journal entries
• Reconcile subsidiary detail to general ledger balances, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Maintain various schedules related to balance sheet accounts (fixed assets, intangibles, etc.)
• Perform variance analyses and commentary for monthly financial statements
• Prepare schedules and provide information for year-end audit and tax returns
• Assist in special projects as needed
What you bring to the team:
• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Must have general knowledge of accounting practices and GAAP
• Must be proficient with Excel and have working knowledge of accounting software; NetSuite a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent
• Big 4/public accounting experience a plus
