What we are looking for:

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to join our team and foster the continued growth of our Procurement function.
 
What you will be doing:

As a Procurement Analyst at Semperis, you will be an essential member of our Finance team. In this role, you will support critical areas of our company’s procurement function including decision support to key stakeholders and driving improvements across technologies, reporting and analytics.  You will be responsible for managing internal and external relationships by providing hands-on support with procurement tools and processes, delivering routine spend reports and analytics, and collaborating with the Procurement Manager to review agreements, negotiate commercial terms, and identify opportunities.

You will be responsible for:

  • Promoting process improvements and collaborating with various internal teams including the Procurement Manager, Legal, Accounting, IT/Security, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Marketing to optimize procurement function performance and internal policy compliance

  • Key procurement tasks including spend classification and reporting, savings pipeline development, vendor negotiations, travel program management, contract management, new supplier management, and supplier due diligence

  • Designing and routinely delivering reports and analytics derived from data within purchasing platforms and technologies

  • Spearheading the coordination and documentation of supplier-onboarding processes and other procurement-related procedures within our company’s Procurement platform, Coupa

    • Conducting research and analysis to identify spend trends and translate findings into actionable initiatives

  • Proactively communicating, training, and providing ad-hoc support to ensure compliance with Company policies and purchasing best practices

    • Partnering with the Procurement Manager to analyze supplier portfolios to prepare for short term initiatives and develop long-term strategies that align with organizational goals

  • Sharing knowledge, providing feedback, driving efficiencies, and brainstorming ideas to ensure that team outputs are held to the highest possible standard


What you will bring to the table:

  • 2+ Years of professional experience in Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations

  • B.S. or B.A. degree in International Business, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field

  • Strong data-driven and analytical skills with a basic understanding of Accounting and Finance concepts

  • Aptitude in negotiations, networking, and decision-making

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient with technology, including strong working knowledge of Excel

 

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with Coupa, Mesh, Expensify, or Oracle NetSuite

  • Experience with Contracts Management Systems (CMS)
