An exciting opportunity has arisen here at FCB Aotearoa for the position of Senior Account Manager in our Account Management Team, Auckland.
This position of Senior Account Manager will report directly into the client portfolio’s Group Business Director, and work across a number of high profile, iconic, national, creative accounts.

Working out of our central Auckland office in Freemans Bay, you’ll be collaborating and working closely with both the Client and other FCB’ers to ensure we both meet, and beat, our clients’ high expectations in arguably NZ’s finest fully integrated, behaviour change agency.

You

You are a slick account management professional – currently at SAM level having honed your skills in a large agency, or closely related industry. This role offers you the opportunity to flex and continue to grow and develop your account management skills working alongside some of the best in the business. Utlising your demonstrated track record of strong client service and relationship management, the results will speak for themselves.
Your innate understanding of the big picture, in addition to attention to detail, organisation, and love of creative, will be key to your success. An eagerness to collaborate and contribute will be second nature. Being both tenacious and resilient, you’ll be day-to-day key point of contact for your client, directing, guiding, trafficking and advising on BAU. Working in this tight-knit team, you’ll be willing to pitch in to get the mahi done, supporting the team, comfortable managing both up and down, using your initiative and naturally proactive approach.

You’ll need to be

• Proactive, able to seek out opportunities drawing on your initiative and problem solving skills
• Confident, a natural rock solid relationship builder across all levels
• Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering to timings and budgets
• Collaborative, a champion of creative and ideas
• You’ll have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Account Management in a large full service Agency, or you will come to us with demonstrated industry related transferrable skillsets in Client service
• Outstanding client management and project management skills with proven ability to work across a range of projects
• Naturally, you’ll have a positive, friendly attitude, equally able to have a laugh – a large dose of banter never goes amiss at FCB
