Accountant IIIs are responsible for maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with close processes, and maintaining proper documentation. They are also responsible for providing guidance and training to entry level staff accountants within the team.

Responsible for the accuracy of large sections of the general ledger.

Works with internal and external auditors as needed.

Interprets accounting standards and finds improved ways for CSI to be fiscally healthy. Calculates impact of ideas to improve standards and pitches those ideas to senior management.

Reviews contracts for assets and liabilities.

Collaborates with vendors and participates in the vendor selection process.

Leads ongoing process improvement initiatives; proactively makes recommendations.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Accurate and timely financial reporting.

Accountable for completing tasks on time and correctly.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
Advanced level position. Minimum two (2) years of successful, extensive work experience in relevant field.
Two (2) plus years of experience in financial accounting role.
Billing and inventory accounting experience a plus.
Understanding and experience with general accounting, revenue recognition standards, contract application, account reconciliations, accounts receivable, and cost accounting are preferred.

This position requires regular contact both inside and outside the company to carry out company policy and programs.
