Senior Accountant

Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Costa Mesa, CA

Duration: 3+ months (Possible extension)

Pay rate: $40 - $43/hr. on W2

Duties:

· Performs general accounting functions for the department and work closely with other members of the Accounting Team.

· Provides supervision of personnel and leads within the department when the manager/supervisor is unavailable.

· Knowledge of GAAP principles and, for Hospital Accounting roles, OSHPD guidelines for financial preparation.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years accounting experience Working knowledge of general ledger systems

· Demonstrated ability to lead others. Preferred: Hospital/healthcare experience; experience in Client's current ERP/Financial system
