Condé Nast is looking for a Senior Analyst to deliver actionable audience insights for the Global Commercial Research & Insights Team.

The Senior Analyst of Marketing Strategy & Research will report to the Executive Director, Marketing Strategy & Research and will work closely with the broader research, sales, and marketing teams across the organization. This position will be based in our New York office.
This position requires an analytical and creative mind that is able to dig deep to find the best, most compelling stories to support Condé Nast’s sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an adaptable, quick learner, and work well in a fast-paced environment. They will have strong analytical skills and a passion for uncovering new and impactful ways of working with data and syndicated research tools. This role will support overall Condé Nast initiatives for the revenue organization, provide insights to the sales and marketing teams and support external requests across Conde Nast’s portfolio of categories and brands.
Responsibilities:
  • Data storytelling using syndicated and custom research tools across platforms, including, but not limited to: comScore, Tubular, Parse.ly, Google Analytics, ListenFirst, Media Radar, MRI-Simmons, and primary resources
  • Respond quickly and accurately to research requests from the sales team to influence brand pitches, events, and other partnership opportunities via RFPs and proactive pitches
  • Responsible for packaging research for larger category strategies and key brand moments
  • Provide deep insights around how key audiences interact with content across the Condé Nast network, and how that translates to content opportunities
  • Provide regular reporting on audience and engagement growth across platforms

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of research experience, preferably at a media content provider
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Hands-on experience with reporting and analyzing data from major web analytics tools, such as comScore, Google Analytics, and MRI-Simmons
  • An understanding of the advertising and media landscape across digital, print, social, video, and audio
  • Collaborative working style with strong desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and capacity to manage multiple stakeholder priorities
  • Strong interest in media trends and consumer behavior
  • Proactive and curious, with a desire to learn tools quickly and dig deeper into discovering new and better ways to surface insights
  • Confident and articulate, comfortable making their strategic viewpoints heard
  • Experience with Google products (e.g. Slides, Sheets) required
  • A passion for beauty, CPG, health, home, travel, and vice categories a plus
  • Salary Range: $70-90k
