Senior Analyst, Payroll

Job Summary:

Currently seeking a Sr. Payroll Analyst responsible for daily administration of multiple US payrolls in ADP Workforce Now and ADP E-time. Processing payroll, tracking time, running reports, implementing processes and procedures. This is a high volume, fast-paced, environment under SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance. This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ. Currently flexible office time and remote.

Key accountabilities/responsibilities for this role include:

  • Process full cycle end to end bi-weekly and monthly global payrolls. Data entry for new hires, terminations, additional payments, overtime, multiple pay rates per associate, direct deposit detail as well as tax withholding information.
  • Calculates and records payroll adjustments.
  • Processes amendments as needed.
  • Implement tools and systems for the payroll department to scale with the company.
  • Handles reporting requests as well as creating new reports.
  • Provides a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Communicates effectively with associates as well as leaders to answer questions/concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state and local regulations, as well as audit for SOX compliance, and HR policies.
  • Assists with ongoing payroll projects.
  • Escalates issues when necessary.
  • Cross trained as backup for purposes of illness, vacation or emergencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting is preferred but not required. Equivalent training and experience may be substituted and considered.
  • 7+ years ADP Payroll Experience, ADP Workforce Now and ADP eTime preferred.
  • Strong Excel (V-lookup, Pivot table, etc) experience.
  • Strong organizational skills as well as PC Skills including proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and following the processes and procedures currently in place.
  • Time management skills to produce accurate work even when under pressure.
  • Ability to switch gears and multi-task efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Analytical as well as detail oriented.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively as a team and with other departments.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
