How you’ll make an impact:

The Sr. Analyst: Retail Inventory & Productivity Strategy is an essential role for driving growth and profitability of the retail business. As part of a high-performing team, this role will deliver analytics solutions to enhance decision making for assortment and inventory strategies, store and fixture productivity, and promotional optimization. An ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation for analytics, be comfortable communicating with a cross functional team, and be able to extract strategic insights from large and diverse data sources. Experience in a retail buying or planning function helpful to driving an immediate impact. Must be comfortable with a dynamic work environment where projects and priorities change with the pace of the business and include long term initiatives and quick wins.

This role reports into the Sr. Planner and is based in our Buckhead office in hybrid work environment

(60%) Drive improved decision making and develop / deliver key insights for quarterly buy (assortment and inventory strategy, promo cadence interactions)

  • Develop and present actionable recommendations to cross-functional partners and executive leadership focused on driving incremental profitability and improving the customer experience (across stores and eCommerce channels)
  • Improve inventory and pricing optimization through collaboration with the buying, merchandising, planning, and allocation processes both in-season and pre-season. Recommend strategies that maximize sales, profitability, and customer experience
  • Perform ad-hoc deep-dive analyses using basic quantitative techniques - formulate clear actionable recommendations
  • Understand competitive environment and drive changes to promotional cadence based on changes in our competitors’ strategies

(30%) Partner to drive adoption of key recommendations and manage in-season decisions

  • Sit in key weekly meetings and use insights / tools generated by inventory and pricing capabilities to influence and drive profit and customer experience maximizing decisions
  • Partner with greater analytics team to identify new and more advanced ways of working, new analytical capabilities, and upgrades to existing tools / capabilities

(10%) Partner to build advanced performance management reports and dashboards

  • Define relevant performance metrics and track/measure success (across stores and eCommerce channels)
  • Develop visual presentation strategies to ensure data is conveyed in meaningful and interpretive formats for all audience levels (including senior executive level)

Must have:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 3-5 years experience from a buying, planning, operations ormerchandising perspective
  • Results focused and strategic mindset that is detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize data to problem solve across the organization

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Analytical thinker with experience presenting data in an actionable and useful way to allow business owners to make decisions
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, building internal cross-functional relationships
  • Skilled in data retrieval and data manipulation using Excel or other data visualization tools
