We are looking for a specialist to work with us on creating a new web application that is intended for clients from one of the leaders of the insurance industry in Poland.

Your goals would be

• Writing a front-end part to the claim handling system based on Agular technology 10/11
• Creating a web application interface in line with the mobile-first approach
• Implementing user interfaces based on functional mockups
• Rating and selecting appropriate technologies and solutions based on the received business requirements

You are going to

• Be responsible for software development (90%) and maintenance support (10%)
• Create new functionalities for the claim handling system
• Participate in creating and developing the system architecture
• Decompose tasks for other team members
• Recommend good software development practices in cooperation with the team
• Cooperate with the team, Product Owner, UX, and business
• Support the service desk department in solving existing problems
• Work in the SCRUM methodology: Daily, Grooming, Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospection, Demo
• Use: Git, JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Bamboo
• Be free to choose developer tools

What we expect

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in front-end frameworks and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Angular 6+
• Good knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Java 15
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and project patterns
• Experience in working with GIT, JIRA, knowledge of the HTTP protocol, and use of the web API (REST)
• Experience in designing websites following the RWD technique
• The ability of prospective analysis (searching for potential problems that may arise in the future)
• Logical thinking, analyzing and problem-solving skills

Additional requirements

(Not obligatory)

• Experience/knowledge in the design/ergonomics of user interfaces for mobile devices
• Knowledge of libraries for testing applications for mobile devices
• Knowledge of Angular in version 10/11
• Basic understanding of web application security
• Basic skills in working with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
• Experience in working with Bamboo
