Job Description


Location:
NYC (open to remote)

As a Senior Associate, you will work across 2-3 affiliate clients within the dentsu portfolio of agencies including Carat, dentsuX, iProspect, Merkle and MuteSix. You will receive on-the-job training in industry landscape and technologies, partnerships, campaign management, client services, ad trafficking, analysis, and communications. You will report to a Senior Manager, Associate Director or Director.

A Senior Affiliate, Associate must have the ability to execute affiliate/performance partnership marketing programs and deliverables across verticals and service platforms. This role includes the following responsibilities:

External Relationship Management:

  • Participates in client meetings and presentations
  • Brings well-supported ideas and concepts to the table for high level strategy

Strategic Focus:

  • Works closely with Affiliate team members and other performance channel teams (Paid Search, SEO, Social, etc.) to execute cross-channel plans
  • Understands how the Affiliate channel is a key part of a holistic digital performance plan (but also how it differs from other marketing channels)
    • Can hit the ground running helping hit campaign goals and
    • Works collaboratively to achieve results
  • Can execute placement bookings, reporting, and text links as needed

Delivery:

  • Help plan and fully execute affiliate campaigns, including (but not limited to) daily account management, account growth and development, and day-to-day organization, and communications
  • Audit, review and analyze reports, partake optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives and performance
  • Build revenue/perform to client KPIs and objectives
  • Willing to dig into the tech and data to find solutions and answer questions (preferably familiar with Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics)

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • MUST have some experience within the Affiliate space: Affiliate Network management, PR or Influencer Marketing, CPA optimization strategies, publisher negotiations, and benchmarking/reporting on revenue and ROAS
    • Familiarity with lead gen, subscription models, and syndication partnership marketing a plus
    • Preferred: An interest in content as a driver of revenue and brand awareness

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years direct experience working as an affiliate/partner marketing specialist at a performance marketing agency, an affiliate network/partnership network, a team in-house, or with an affiliate publisher.
    • Building incremental revenue while maintaining ROAS goals in retail or subscription-based ecommerce environments
  • Strong background on one or more networks: Impact Radius (and preferably Forensiq), Partnerize, CJ, or Rakuten Affiliate Network (RAN)
  • Ability to manage complex data and sort invoicing (not easy in this channel!)
  • A genuine love of Affiliate!
  • A hardworking, open attitude about learning new things
  • Able to learn new technology, industries, and guidelines quickly and enthusiastically

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000-$80,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
