Position Overview:

The Senior Associate, Corporate Marketing will be an integral member of the Corporate Marketing team at Cambridge Associates. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Marketing, this individual will be a lead contributor to brand building and lead generation strategies for the firm.

With the goals of raising brand awareness and differentiating Cambridge Associates as a global investment leader, the Senior Associate will be a key contributor to the firm’s external communications strategy and serve as a key liaison to Marketing teams in each of our dedicated Practice Areas (Endowments & Foundations, Private Clients, Pensions), to help create compelling and action-oriented content and thought leadership for distribution across channels.

This position requires regular interaction with the firm’s Practice Marketing teams, Strategic Events team, Business Development teams, and investment directors, as well as members of the firm’s Leadership Team.


Job Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Corporate Marketing to steward Cambridge Associates’ external communications strategy, narrative framework, and messaging to generate brand awareness and build pipeline
  • Partner closely with Practice Marketing teams and other key business stakeholders to ensure our communications across channels carry consistent, compelling, and differentiated messages that build our brand and external presence across website, media, conferences, events, and social media
  • In partnership with practice marketing teams, manage RFP content management platform including, but not limited to, updating data on a quarterly basis, setting and monitoring review cycles for subject matter experts, and revising or adding content as needed to keep standard library current.
  • Develop and/or oversee creation of firm-level content available on Cambridge Associates’ public website and other digital platforms, including web pages, electronic newsletters, and podcasts
  • Create and execute marketing content and messages including marketing materials, presentations, social media posts, and other external communications
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and third-party partners to test, troubleshoot, and implement website optimizations
  • Develop project scopes and objectives when necessary, and provide project updates on a consistent basis
  • Work on special projects as requested

Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of investment marketing experience preferred, or in a related field such as professional or financial services
  • Strong interpersonal skills, which includes the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across different teams and departments and to manage varying expectations and objectives
  • Demonstrated strategic marketing and marketing program or project management experience, with knowledge of marketing concepts and practices
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to strategically problem solve and execute on programs independently
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing responsibilities
  • Proven ability to complete projects on time and within scope
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and WordPress
  • Internal candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with the firm
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship
