Florida A&M University is pleased to announce the acceptance of qualified applications for the Senior Associate Director, Human Resources vacancy. This position reports directly to the Associate Vice President for Human Resources, Chief of Staff for Finance and Administration, and serves as the Associate Director, HRIS in providing direct technical support within various HR databases and the maintenance of the HR website.
The incumbent in this position coordinates system changes, updates, and releases, and verifies through testing that all objects, permissions, and assignments are performing as expected; Addresses or escalates issues as needed; Collaborates with Human Resources Managers to facilitate and improve daily operation of business process workflows; Recommends process improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes to enhance service delivery and data integrity; Provides guidance and training to partners on system processes, data, and troubleshooting errors; Develops and utilizes auditing tools to ensure data accuracy and integrity; Develops operational processes and procedures, guidelines, and documentation for the Office of Human Resources; Maintains awareness of current trends in Human Resources Information Systems with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies; Communicates changes in PeopleSoft-HCM or other HR data base systems functionality to immediate supervisor and other key stakeholders as assigned; and provides technical support to all human resources staff and others.
