About the Role

We are hiring for a Senior Automation Engineer. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering and product to ensure we put out the best code possible and use automation to make it all happen.

The role will report directly to the QA Manager, work closely with other Seniors to lead the automation effort and provide support and coaching to other members of the QA and Dev teams.

What You'll Do

• Work with QA Manager in TCs candidates for automation testing
• Create, maintain, and improve the automation framework in Cypress
• Ensure that the suite is robust, and remove any flaky tests
• Take care of framework performance
• Bug reporting and follow up
• Help other team members with the automation learning process
• Guide framework improvements
• Manage effectively and securely AWS buckets and lambdas
• Maintenance and configuration of QA tools (i.e., Cypress Dashboard)
• Design clear and effective test cases aligned with requirements
• Test cases peer review
• Test plan creation and execution 

Skillsets/ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in automation testing
• Excellent programming skills
• Fluent in JS and Typescript
• Experience in API testing, i.e., Postman
• Exposure to Cypress Dashboard
• Experience working with AWS, Lambdas, S3 Bucket, Secrets Manager
• Experience with GitHub Actions (pipelines, ymls)
• Knowledge of test cases design techniques, TDD
• Experience in Negative test case design
• Experience in Jira, Testrail, or other Test Case/Bug management tools
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong evaluative skills
• Advanced English skills
• Ability to embrace new technologies and learn
