Senior Brand Manager

BillionToOne (Y Combinator S17), ranked at the top 5% of Y Combinator companies with $200M+ in funding from prominent VC firms, has developed a DNA molecular counter that increases the cell-free DNA diagnostics resolution by over 1,000 fold. BillionToOne's first product, UNITY Screen™ is the first and only prenatal screen that directly assesses the baby's risk for common and severe inherited disorders such as cystic fibrosis, spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), and hemoglobinopathies from a single tube of blood from the pregnant mother.

We are looking for a Senior Brand Manager to play a critical role in defining how our products are positioned, messaged, and pulled through in print and digital content and strategies. The Senior Brand Manager will partner closely with the Sales team to develop sales materials , objection handling guidance, lead digital campaigns to build brand awareness and educate providers and patients on BillionToOne's game changing genetic tests. This role will also support the market access team in developing materials related to payers. The Senior Brand Manager is a remote position and will report to the Director of Brand Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies to drive awareness and increase market share for UNITY Screen.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop materials that support the sales process, including product messaging, objection handling, visual aids, leave behinds, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Training, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, etc.) to develop cohesive launch, promotion, and training plans.
  • Participate in market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and product opportunities.
  • Work closely with the market access team to develop materials related to payers, including reimbursement guides, payer messaging, and other materials.
  • Monitor product performance and provide regular updates to leadership on sales, market share, and other key metrics.
  • Develop non-personal promotion including updates to the website, media drivers, emails etc.
  • Manage materials, projects, and resources through the internal review committee process (Promotional Review Committee)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product or brand marketing, preferably in the healthcare or diagnostics industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and competitive analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop compelling product messaging and sales content.
  • Experience managing vendors and budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience working with payers and developing materials related to reimbursement is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the healthcare industry, including the diagnostic and screening landscape is a plus.
  • Field sales experience is a plus.

At BillionToOne, we are proud to offer a combination of a (1) base pay range (actual amount offered is based experience and salary/equity options split that the candidate chooses) (2) generous equity options offering, on top of (3) industry leading company benefits (free healthcare options, 401k match, very generous fully paid paternal leave etc.).

For this position, the base pay range is: $120,000-$160,000 per year.
