About the Role
We’re looking for a foundational Brand Marketing Manager to help develop breakthrough brand marketing and integrated campaigns for Ramp. Reporting to the Director of Brand Strategy, this person will define and execute brand strategy, brand campaigns, and experiences to support Ramp’s next phase of growth.
You will champion creative ideas that keep Ramp top of mind for users and prospects. To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of brand and advertising strategy and experience writing creative briefs, being a strategic partner to creative teams, and optimizing a full-funnel integrated creative campaigns. Prior experience managing agencies is a bonus.
What You’ll Do
- Build a brand marketing program to help increase Ramp’s brand awareness and consideration among our target audiences, through integrated campaign launches and brand activations
- Identify opportunities to grow brand awareness among our target audiences through marketing strategies that leverage paid, owned, and earned tactics
- Design quantitative and qualitative research to develop insights that inform marketing strategy and brand assets
- Develop expertise in the Ramp customer community to ensure the brand has the greatest impact and resonance with target audiences
- Partner with cross-functional marketing and GTM teams (Creative, Product & Solutions Marketing, Performance Marketing, Growth, Comms, Events, Martech, Sales) to bring integrated campaigns to market
- Marry creativity and effectiveness to bring breakthrough campaign work to life; proactively champion for new, interesting creative ideas to win hearts and minds internally and externally
- Act as strategy client for agency partners and external creative teams, providing clear project briefs and guiding development of creative briefs
- Leverage historical data, reporting and analytical insights to set goals, test, and measure success; Continually refine our brand tactics towards better engagement and conversion
What You Need
- Minimum 5 years of experience in creative marketing, either in a creative agency or in-house role at a technology company
- Prior experience should encompass Brand Strategy, Brand Marketing, Communications Planning in a brand-focused environment
- Experience developing creative campaigns from start to finish, including: research & insights development, creative brief development, presentations to executive leadership, and partnership with in-house production team on project delivery
- Tight-knit collaboration skills and ability to lead multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, high growth environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft a story and represent it to leaders, team members, and outside agencies
- Ability to develop insight-driven messaging, copy and content for brand marketing
- Strong aesthetic sense and design taste; an eye for high-caliber creative work
- Solid analytical and quantitative skills with the demonstrated ability to design research, interpret and leverage data to illustrate impact and drive decision making
- Advanced understanding of how to track, report, and influence marketing metrics

Compensation
- The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role is $144,500-$170,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
