Senior Business Analyst

Our Client, a World recognised and respected Automotive OEM Manufacturer based in rural Warwickshire, are actively seeking a competent and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their highly successful team on a permanent basis.

To be successful in this role, we are seeking experience of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, knowledge and understanding of Bill of Materials (BoM) structures and a basic experience and understanding in database and systems design. You will also need experience of working in an Automotive manufacturing environment.

Taking the lead in building strong working relationships between the IT organization and one or more business units, and for ensuring IT services meet their needs, in this role you will lead the planning and implementation of projects from idea to completion.

The Key Responsibilities:

• To establish and maintain a business relationship between IT and the customer based on understanding the customer and their business needs.

• To identify customer needs and ensure that that IT can meet these needs as business needs change over time. Represent the customer’s requirements.

• Assist the business in articulating the value of a service. Ensure the customer expectations do not exceed what they are willing to pay for and that IT are able to meet the customer expectations.

• Lead negotiations to provide enhanced products and services.

• Educate customers on available IT services.

• Act as Business Analyst and/or Project Manager on Projects as required.

• Capture feedback and monitor customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience ideally required:

• Should ideally be educated to Degree level in a Business Discipline or similar, although lesser qualifications, but plenty of relevant experience will be absolutely fine too.

• You should offer substantial experience working as a Business Relationship Lead, Project Manager, Business Analyst with such knowledge have been gained within ideally an Automotive/Manufacturing environment.

• You should have substantial experience as a communications lead for a similar organisation.

• We require excellent experience of complex project delivery, the ability to coordinate technical resources and manage a variety of different projects at any one time.

• A strong understanding of automotive and supporting processes is needed.

• Experience of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is a must.

• Knowledge and understanding of Bill of Materials (BoM) structures is also a must have.

• Basic experience and understanding in database and systems design; ideally Infor LN / Automotive cloud suite ERP, but not essential.

• A proven solid knowledge of both traditional and Agile Project Management methods is needed.

• You will have a proven track record of managing project teams.

• An ability to configure Price Quote systems & processes would be useful.
