Senior Buyer

This role requires a strategic thinker, but also someone who is prepared to “roll up their sleeves.” It requires interaction across the organization, globally. The right candidate will be a builder with strong analytical, and communication skills. 5+ years of experience within an indirect procurement team with experience in Software purchasing at a SaaS firm.

Responsibilities will include

Assist in the negotiation and administration of contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives on facility specific goods or services
Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history.
Manage the contract approval and legal redline process for assigned categories across the business.
Assist buying team in coordinating day-to-day management of Entrata’s suppliers
Manage employee software subscriptions with suppliers
Work with internal stakeholders and Suppliers to compose appropriate blanket POs for recurring services spend for assigned categories
Obtain quotes for products/services needed and ensure Entrata is getting the best price
Ensure use of proper purchasing procedures and enforce them in the department and through the company
Ensure vendors are executing against terms of contract, and maintaining those contracts.
Execute RFQ via procure to pay system
Assist in the identification and forecasting of cost reduction opportunities via proactive stakeholder alignment
Ensure that all deals under your purview have been executed per the company purchasing policy and process
Work closely with Global Stakeholders on on pre-renewal strategy, RFP distribution and post renewal analysis
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts and internal stakeholders through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects
Contribute to the recommendation of new tools and approaches for global expansion
Develop an understanding of the legal framework for contract execution

Minimum Qualifications

5-10 years of purchasing experience with 3-5 year indirect purchasing experience, preferably in a SaaS company environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, a must
Proficient in Google Suite
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated analytical skills
Ability to perform under pressure, prioritizes competing tasks, and schedule time wisely
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, master supplier agreements, SOW, etc.
Ability to establish and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in purchasing or supply chain-related field
Experience with Coupa
