What You’ll Be Doing- Overall Job Description

The Senior Cloud Security Engieer will join the Cloud Security team under the direction of the Director of Cloud Engineering and Operations. The Senior Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for the management and implementation of CBORD’s security and compliance systems. Candidate will oversee and work to optimize the security processes of the company's systems such as early threat modeling, security design reviews, and static code analysis. This individual will also be responsible for monitoring vulnerabilities and working with appropriate teams to ensure timely patching cadence and compliance levels

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as security architect representative on projects.
  • Assist with projects in support of the enterprise information security program.
  • Advocate appropriate cybersecurity software engineering principles such as unit testing, code reviews, quality engineering practices, and requirements gathering techniques to the teams to improve end-to-end security delivery practices.
  • Deploy automated security solutions for cloud delivery processes
  • Integrate security tools and functions into existing CI/CD pipelines
  • Be familiar with industry cloud security trends

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information security or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS.
  • Incident response experience a plus
  • Security and Vulnerability management skills
  • Automation/scripting skills
  • AWS knowledge and architecture a must
  • On-premises architecture understanding
  • Knowledge of Networking concepts including firewall functions
  • Drive things such as standardizing Falcon install and SSM integration in automation pipeline and in existing environments in AWS.
  • AWS Control tower / Guardrails knowledge

What’s Good to Know

  • Scheduled weekend work is required, sometimes with little advanced notice
  • Some travel to meet with stakeholders is required

Who You’ll Work with

  • Internal Customers including IT, Development, CloudOps Operations and CloudOps Automation
  • Customers and prospects to answer security related architecture questions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
