The position reports to the Contract Manager. This position is responsible for leading and managing all phases of State Fund’s contracting process for a wide range of initiatives. The primary objective is to procure all products and services vital to State Fund’s success based on the best quality and overall value.

In this role, you will:

• Clearly define business requirements
• Establish objective success criteria
• Conduct market analysis
• Lead contract negotiations
• Collaborate with Legal and Risk Management teams
• Provide recommendations to key business users and manage vendor relationships

• Ability to compile information and data from multiple sources

Additional skills preferred but not required:

• Proficient with Oracle Purchasing application
• Proficient with SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite
• Practical knowledge of third party risk management programs
• Knowledge of Government Code 19130
• Background in business, law, journalism or related field

SALARY: $5,518 - $6,907 per month depending on experience
