Senior Contracts Administrator

ECS is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to work in our Fairfax, VA , Huntsville, AL , or Clarksburg, WV office.

Please Note: this is a remote position supporting customers in Huntsville, AL and Clarksburg, WV.

Job Description:

  • Full life cycle contract management (cradle-to-grave). Administer prime contracts/sub-to-prime contracts, including preparation and negotiation of proposals, contract administration, and contract close-out.
  • Ensures timeliness in handling and execution of new contracts, proposals, quotations, and customer communications.
  • Reviews, negotiates, and processes Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements, and Sub-to-Prime Subcontractor documents.
  • Serves as the company's primary point of contact with the Government contracting officials and/or Prime Contractor's Subcontracts Administrator for all assigned contracts.
  • Supports data calls and maintains compliance with government requirements which includes updating internal compliance forms/spreadsheets.
  • Provides contracts advice, interpretation of contract requirements and identification of risk to program management and senior leadership.
  • Reviews solicitation requests to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Familiarity with proposal pricing and narratives.
  • Negotiates contract terms from proposal stage to contract close-out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Enters contracts, task orders and related documents into the Contract Life Cycle Management Software – SpectrumCLM.
  • Coordinates with program managers to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled.
  • May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced contracts administrators.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices.
  • Participates in special projects as required to include audit support.
  • Position is remote but preferred candidate would be physically located in Huntsville, AL; Clarksburg, WV; or Fairfax VA due to supporting customer needs.

Required Skills:

  • 5-7 years of industry experience within Federal Government Contracting.
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation and its supplements, as well as the Uniform Commercial Code.
  • Demonstrated experience with all contract types, particularly T&M and FFP LOE contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience in Contract negotiations (clauses, terms, and conditions).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload with competing deadlines.
  • Highly organized.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills such as listening and interacting in a professional manner during tight deadlines, able to build strong, positive, and collaborative working relations with both internal and external customers.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated proposal experience, to include the ability to evaluate proposals and assist with proposal narratives and business volumes (Reps and Certs, OCIs, COIs and general pricing)
  • Bachelor's Degree

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Contract Life Cycle Management Software – SpectrumCLM
  • Experience utilizing Government and Customer contracting systems to include but not limited to - GSA eBuy, Ariba, GSA Assist , PIEE, CPARS, SAM, and other GWAC interfaces.
  • Experience with Department of Justice contracting to include FBI, Marshals Service.
  • Ability to clearly convey contractual matters to Project Managers and operational staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $92,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
