Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
Administer the University’s Travel Program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-7 years progressively responsible experience in the corporate travel industry including customer support functions, handling of business travel requirements and constraints, experience with Concur Travel Management Solution (Travel and Expense Management).
- Experience in administering a corporate liability travel card program.
- Experience with Concur Travel and Expense Management or other comparable booking, expense, and travel management tools.
- Experience in developing travel related measures and reports for use across the organization.
- Experience in crafting policies and procedures for use by others.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Strong knowledge of the travel industry, travel tools, duty of care obligations, and expense management activities in a large, diverse environment with a high level of travel transactions including domestic and international travel.
- Strong customer service skills including ability to connect with a diverse population of individuals with varying needs for assistance and guidance.
- Ability to help others feel at ease in asking questions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to address a variety of audiences with people at all levels of the university in an appropriate manner.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and experience in account reconciliation and expense management.
- Ability to efficiently and effectively use Microsoft Office tools and other standard office applications.
- Ability to work independently and to organize work for effective and timely completion.

- Experience with travel functions in a higher education setting.
