Senior Corporate Communications Manager

This is a hybrid role based in Las Vegas. It reports to the General Manager of Group Brand & Communications and is part of a global team of communication and corporate affairs professionals. The Senior Corporate Communications Manager will develop and execute communication strategies that create excitement, drive engagement, shape culture and enhance corporate reputation on behalf of Aristocrat Group.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to execute communications plans, strong writing skills and a natural ability to think strategically to deliver results across varied stakeholder groups. This role works collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders including Corporate Affairs, People & Culture, Diversity & Inclusion, Sustainability, Digital & Creative teams and executive leadership.

Lead the implementation of the Group communications strategy to help tell our story and foster strong employee engagement, positively influence culture, and drive the business strategy.

Work closely with colleagues within Aristocrat Group Functions and in business units to coordinate and implement enterprise-wide communications, including planning, writing, and editing content for a variety of internal communications mediums.

Plan, design and execute innovative internal employee events and company-wide town hall meetings to boost alignment and engagement across the global enterprise.

Work closely with the broader Corporate Affairs team to drive the internal and external communications and stakeholder engagement program to support our global corporate sustainability (ESG) strategy.

Work with the People & Culture, Talent Acquisition and Creative teams to develop employer branding content that is inspiring and effective across relevant internal and external communication channels.

Maintain/evolve Aristocrat Group’s suite of enterprise-wide communication channels (i.e., website/intranet/e-newsletters etc.) to help translate and communicate important goals, and improve employee engagement, including managing KPIs and content plans for each channel.

Manage Aristocrat global communications calendar and work cross-functionally to create relevant content for enterprise-wide employee communication channels.

Set benchmarks/analytics targets to ensure improvements in core internal communications processes and content.

Drive the social media program for Aristocrat's corporate accounts to highlight internal engagement priorities e.g., diversity & inclusion, sustainability, and wellbeing. Support the Executive leadership team to profile these on through their own channels, as relevant.

Manage appropriate Media Monitoring – including sharing daily coverage reports with leaders.

Support the broader Group Communication team’s goals and activities as and when required.

Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related field.

5-7 years working in similar role; including experience in developing and executing internal and external communications plans and strategies preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to adapt style for a variety of audiences and formats (e.g., corporate emails, e-newsletters, executive speeches, web copy, social content) while adhering to Aristocrat brand standards.

Ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced global organisation. Mature and professional operator with high personal integrity and a team approach.

Ability to manage and prioritise competing demands and multiple projects, with an outcome focused approach and high attention to detail.

Strong Project management skills, vendor management and event planning experience.

Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications.

Communications technology experience is a plus.
