The opportunity

We're seeking a Senior Communications Manager to help drive and implement Unity's external corporate communications strategy! Reporting to the Director, Corporate Communications, the Senior Corporate Communications Manager will design and implement strategic communication programs that create clarity, confidence and connection to our strategy, and promote our reputation and brand.

The Unity Communications team advances the company's narrative, helps shape the reputation, and articulates its vision to global internal and external audiences including creators, media, investors, influencers, and policymakers.

What you'll be doing

• Create proactive and reactive integrated communications campaigns that strengthen Unity's reputation and positive perception as the global RT3D leader in games and in industries outside gaming by building mindshare and trust.
• Develop an understanding of the varied environments that matter to Unity's business and create corporate communications strategies that support our growth and leadership positioning.
• Support earnings and M&A activity, as well as partner with Investor Relations on financial filings and communications.
• Partner with the broader communications team (including social media and internal communications) and cross-functionally with HR, Legal, Government Relations, Social Impact, and more.
• Provide strategic communications recommendations and support for day-to-day escalations.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in corporate PR or external corporate communications
• Proven ability working on complex crisis communications issues and a track record of working well across a diverse group of partners
• Demonstrated experience building and driving strategic, integrated communications programs from the ground up
• Deep knowledge of the earned media ecosystem and the importance of a multi-channel approach
• Consistent record of pitching top-tier business, news, and tech media outlets and securing press mentions

You might also have

• Understanding of B2B technology platforms (preferred)
• Combined in-house and PR agency experience, global public company experience, or B2B tech experience (a plus)
