Senior Customer Program Manager, Lidar Product

Cepton (Nasdaq: CPTN), a leading intelligent lidar solution provider, is seeking a seasoned Senior Lidar Customer Program Manager who is passionate about solving challenges to join us. Working closely with our Sr. VP of Business Development and partnering closely with our brilliant business development team and R&D team, you will lead one of our Automotive customer projects and buildLiDAR products that will lead the industry trends.

What You Will Do:

Be the main point of contact for OEM activities and manage OEM onsite support engineers.
Ensure technical success for the project according to customer’s requirements.
Collaborate with Tier 1 partner and Cepton Headquarters to meet project execution deliverables.
Facilitate engineering change requests and implementation.
Prioritize workstreams and report to the HQ leadership team.
Be willing and able to travel as needed.

Who You Are:

Has a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline. A master’s degree in related disciplines is a plus.
Has 10+ years of professional experience in managing and launching complex technology products for Automotive.
Demonstrated ability to successfully launch products for major Automotive companies.
Demonstrated ability to manage partnerships with Automotive Tier 1 companies and key suppliers.
Has deep knowledge of Automotive APQP Development processes.
Has a deep understanding of the Automotive PPAP process and Engineering Change management processes.
A good and reliable team player with strong communication and writing skills. Self-motivated, continually striving for excellence, and can thrive under pressure.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Automotive sensors is a plus.
Experience with Automotive ADAS system components is a plus (e.g., radar, camera, LiDAR)
Experience with Automotive design and qualification process is a plus.
Senior project management experience is preferred.

Location:

Cepton’s Detroit office OR Cepton’s headquarters in San Jose, CA.
Some local on-site visits to key customers.
Travel to regional customer sites and to support trade shows & conferences (estimated 25%)

The pay range for this role is $140,000 to $170,000, with an annual bonus. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
