ModMed is hiring a driven Senior Deal Desk Analyst to grow and lead commercial policy and the deal desk at ModMed. The Sr. Deal Desk Analyst is a key partner in proposal building, deal formation and pricing, opportunity management, and sales execution, with a focus on minimizing sales cycle time while optimizing revenue and profitability. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and possess the desire to have an impact on the financial success of the company

The Role:

  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Product and Legal to enhance current business rules and workflows to optimize deal flow and minimize the sales cycle
  • Respond to inquiries, provide guidance for quote and contract processes to Sales representatives regarding the proper structure of deals, and advise on standard terms and pricing structure
  • Assist with the quote to revenue booking process ensuring accurate opportunities are properly created and tracked in Salesforce for forecasting, bookings, and compensation purposes
  • Responsible for maintaining and enforcing the approval hierarchies for discounts, pricing promotions, and new programs
  • Perform profitability analysis to inform decision making among the appropriate functions and to enforce pricing guidelines and approvals
  • Help manage and lead periodic calls for review of enterprise deals and approvals for discounting and non-standard terms
  • Maintain and ensure internal deal desk policies and the pricing and deal processing information repository is up to date and communicated to the organization
  • Identify and act as an escalation point to facilitate approvals for non-standard deals by relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct analysis and monitor KPIs evaluating discounts, deal metrics, and pricing practices
  • Maintain an agreed-upon Service level agreement (SLA) on deal turnaround times
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement and assist in implementing agreed-upon changes

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in business/finance related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with 2+ years of experience in deal desk, order management, sales operations, finance, contract management and/or related sales support
  • Experience in Salesforce and CPQ is highly desired; and similar systems beneficial
  • Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, and collaboration skills
  • Experience working in a high growth environment -the ideal candidate will be responsive, high-energy, can-do person to help ensure our sales teams can close business
  • Highly organized and self-starter
