The Senior Demand Planner will be an essential advisor to Pattern clients, helping them understand how Pattern can put their digital marketing budgets to work to grow their eCommerce revenues. This role will act as a bridge between Pattern’s sellers and its digital advertising and influencer marketing groups, assessing client needs and building a demand plan that leverages Pattern’s strengths and eCommerce insights. The ideal candidate will have experience planning and executing on $1 million-plus digital marketing budgets allocated across influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, paid social, Amazon Ads and other digital channels
What is a day in the life of a Senior Demand Planner?
  • Consult regularly within the pre-sales process to assess clients’ digital marketing budgets and needs
  • Leverage Pattern’s proprietary tools and eCommerce insights to define unique opportunities for demand generation tailored to each client
  • Coordinate with Pattern’s digital advertising and influencer marketing delivery teams to package relevant services into client-specific demand plans
  • Develop training materials and collateral to improve Pattern sellers’ comfort and fluency in pitching the company’s demand generation services
  • Collaborate with Pattern’s data scientists to develop new tools and novel insights to demand-driving strategies validated against marketplace outcomes
  • Craft and publish thought leadership around digital marketing best practices for eCommerce use cases
What will I need to thrive in this role?
  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with accountability for brands’ or clients’ eCommerce performance
  • Experience managing or delivering on meaningful paid media budgets across Amazon, TikTok, Google and Meta
  • Experience implementing or overseeing creator-led marketing campaigns and/or ambassador programs
  • Demonstrated success tailoring campaigns to eCommerce objectives (across D2C, Amazon or other significant marketplaces)
  • Highly polished and professional communication style – able to present a digital marketing plan to a CMO-level audience
  • Fluent in digital marketing measurement and ROI/ROAS calculations
  • Team player who is skilled at building connections across teams and organizational functions

What is the team like?
This is an individual contributor position and the sole sales planning role within Pattern, with an opportunity to build a team in time, with success and revenue growth. You will work with the other full-time Revenue Operations team members and Sales & Marketing leadership as well as be supervised by the Head of Revenue Operations. This team is data-driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions.
