The Role

We are looking for an experienced talented individual to join our growing global technology team. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated and loves challenges.

In this position:

• you’ll have the opportunity to help the teams by delivering microservices and infrastructure components;
• together with the other dev/ops engineers, you’ll be the co-owner for all environments including production.

You will be working on a project using the latest technologies, such as AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Gitlab CI, etc. The usage of the latest technologies combined with the freedom and expectation of introducing new technologies will make your daily work exciting and challenging.

Requirements

Technical skills

• 8+ years experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Linux (Installation, Configuration, Tuning).
• Strong experience with the AWS Cloud platform.
• Strong Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with Ansible/Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Python, bash).
• Good understanding of security and networking concepts.
• Experience with distributed applications (ElasticSearch, Kafka, Cassandra, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of web-based technologies, including but not limited to, proxy and reverse proxy servers, SSL configuration, DNS, Web Servers, Load Balancing (e.g. Nginx)

Accountabilities

• Self-starter, takes initiative, can work independently & in a team
• Work closely together with development teams
• Automate systems and architectures.
• Driving automation within an organization utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Develop and maintain (auto)scalable architecture solutions using Cloud Providers such as AWS.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Cloud, Datacenter Technologies, Automation, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Security by Design (SbD), SysOps, and DevOps.
