Senior Executive and Employee Communications Manager (Sales/Revenue)

Come join the growing Executive and Employee Communications team at Fastly. This role would manage executive communications for Fastly's revenue team, supporting the Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Customer Officer. You will also work closely with the VP, Executive and Employee Communications, to shape communications across Fastly.

The revenue team at Fastly is a globally distributed, fast-paced team. You will support the Chief Revenue Officer and the leadership team in ensuring the teams have timely information communicated clearly and effectively. We are looking for a experienced sales communications leader who will take initiative to build creative and engaging communications to drive engagement and excitement across the organization. You will leverage a wide variety of mediums and platforms from all hands and newsletters to keynotes. Working across teams to integrate and align communication will be critical. This role reports to the VP, Executive and Employee Communications.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Chief Revenue Officer to execute a strategic executive communications plan
  • You will drive strategic communications across major revenue team events from monthly all hands to the annual Sales Kick Off and Customer Insight Panel
  • You will partner closely with the Sales and Enablement team, aligning key communications initiatives with other parts of the organization
  • Deliver a clear and unified voice on the corporate mission, employee experience, and customer experience
  • Identify and execute creative ways to render the corporate message in a clear and compelling way with executives, employees, and customers

Work Hours: This position will require you to be available during core business hours

What We're Looking For

  • BA in communications, journalism, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in executive communications, employee communications, or equivalent field
  • Experience advising C-Suite executives on communications strategy and execution on a variety of platforms
  • Previous experience working with a sales and/or revenue team
  • Strong organizational skills, highly collaborative, self-driven, and detail oriented
  • Creative thinker who can translate both technology and business processes into compelling, actionable stories for a variety of audiences (internal and external)
  • Exceptional storytelling skills that can be applied to a wide variety of media including written, video, social media
  • Passionate collaborator who loves to brainstorm and leans into new challenges and opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Suite and or other design software
  • Strong powerpoint design skills
  • Familiarity with employee communications tools and SaaS platforms
  • Experience in working in a highly agile, fast-paced environment
  • Background in executive coaching or presentation skills

Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements

The communications team is based out of Fastly's San Francisco Headquarters, but candidates near the Denver office should also apply.

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.

This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.


Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $142,630 to $209,740.

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly's equity and discretionary bonus programs.
