Responsibilities:
The Senior Financial Analyst will work Full Time, Days and will compile financial and programmatic analyses on various components within the Bassett Healthcare Network under limited supervision of the Financial Planning Manager, in order to evaluate, support, and make recommendations on financial performance. The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting the budget process, financial and statistical reporting, monthly and yearly statistical/financial closing process, and assisting in the development of financial pro-formas relative to business and program developmental needs. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will perform a variety of financial duties related to the maintenance and accuracy of the detailed accounts of the hospital.

The Senior Financial Analyst prepares and analyzes data as it relates to the Networks financial performance.

The Senior Financial Analyst maintains spreadsheets and tools that are easily accessible to access financial data.

Responsibility for creating and maintaining various budgets as requested.

The Senior Financial Analyst provides analysis of industry statistics vs Network performance.

Self-Directed and performance driven.

Able to comply with tight deadlines.

Train new users on StrataJazz.

The Senior Financial Analyst helps add enhancements to the current budget and variance reporting processes.

Report writing in Infor and Strata.

Demonstrates good organization skills.

Performs other duties as requested and observed by manager or Director.
Qualifications:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Healthcare Administration required.
Experience:
-
4 years Hospital experience performing accounting and or financial analysis.

3-4 years Operating Budget experience.
-
2 years StrataJazz software experience preferred.
