The Financial Systems Analyst will be part of the Financial Reporting team within the Teradata Corporate Controller’s group based in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. The Financial Reporting team is responsible for the maintenance and performance of a wide array of financial reporting tools as well as the creation and presentation of several high visibility reports. The Financial Reporting team plays a crucial role in the monthly accounting close process including the consolidation of accounting data from around the globe as well as the processing of corporate level journal entries. Team members are expected to be subject matter experts in their area and will both gather and explain financial data to a diverse audience including executive leadership.
Candidates for this role need not have prior experience administering financial systems. Candidates should have prior experience working with large data sets and at least some user level experience with large scale financial systems (eg: Oracle ERP, SAP Business Objects, HFM, etc.). Candidates must possess advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Candidates should have prior experience with metadata management. Job Responsibilities
Process system changes including metadata and mapping changes
Prepare global reports for consumption by both the finance and accounting departments
Conduct financial system tie-outs to ensure data integrity
Maintain financial system readiness by ensuring financial systems are ready and performing as required
Process user access requests
Troubleshoot production system issues with the IT department
Participate in internal and external audits
Assist system users with questions and concerns
Liaise with the IT department on system enhancements and updates including UAT testing
Will serve as a subject matter expert on the financial systems and data
Document systems and processes
Prepare and conduct system training for global users
Create and post monthly journal entries
Handle ad hoc reporting and projects as needed

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
4+ years of relevant financial analysis, accounting, and/or financial systems experience.
Advanced problem-solving skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Familiarity with large scale financial systems (eg: Oracle ERP, SAP Business Objects, HFM, etc.)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle Cloud Products
Experience managing metadata or charts of accounts
Experience working with Hyperion applications (eg: HFM, Hyperion Planning, Essbase)
Experience with Workday Finance
